RCS Statement on Matt Borges

Roetzel Consulting Solutions (“RCS”) was shocked and appalled to learn of the allegations released by the US Attorney involving Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder and four others, including Matt Borges. Mr. Borges was previously associated  with RCS, leaving  in January of this year, along with Alex Thomas, Melissa Hoeffel and Madison Whalen to form 17 Consulting. After his announced departure, we learned that Mr. Borges incorporated 17 Consulting Group in August, 2019, an act done without the knowledge or approval of RCS.

It is important to note that Mr. Borges actively concealed the existence of his personal company and its relationship with Generation Now from RCS leadership.

RCS is pleased to have had a new lobbying team based in Columbus since February. Our team is diverse, represents both sides of the aisle, and is focused on serving our clients’ needs. Independent of these former employees, we have grown and will continue to grow our client base.

RCS is proud of its hard-earned reputation for honesty and integrity that shapes all that we do. We will continue to work hard on behalf of our clients delivering the services and results they need.
