Todd focuses his practice on providing government relations and state lobbying. He has built this practice on his professional experience representing constituents and organizations at the state and local government levels. Todd served as an Ohio State Representative for the 89th House District, which includes Scioto and parts of Adams and Lawrence Counties, for four terms.
He has gained extensive experience in the Ohio legislative and administrative processes, collaborating with House leadership to develop legislative priorities and negotiating bills with the Senate, Governor's Office and other interested parties. He sponsored and helped pass several laws, including the Casino Control Act. Additionally, he served as Assistant Minority Leader, Caucus Chair, Chairman of Rules and Reference Committee and Chairman of the Ohio Retirement Study Council.
Todd has held a variety of roles throughout his broad career, including prosecutor and adjunct professor. He is the owner of Old Hickory Golf Company that conducts centennial events at golf clubs across the nation. He is also the former Assistant Executive Director of Policy and Public Affairs at the Ohio State Bar Association, the former Economic Development Director of Scioto County and the former Commissioner of the Ohio Racing Commission. Todd received his Juris Doctor from The College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University.
